We put dunkers in the spotlight.
Dunker Spotlight gives every dunker a personal brand website built around their real experiences, so they get found, followed, and sponsored.
It started because three people who love dunking in different ways got tired of watching the best dunkers on earth stay invisible.

Our mission
Dunking is one of the most electric things a human can do, and it is wildly undervalued. The athletes pushing the sport forward have an okay digital presence, but nowhere near what they deserve. Most are the best-kept secret in their own gym.
Dunker Spotlight exists to fix that. We believe dunking should be a real, documented sport, and that starts with every dunker owning their name online. When a dunker is properly documented for Google and AI assistants, the wider public can finally understand what is happening in dunking: what a specific dunk is, who a specific dunker is, and why it matters.
Dunker Spotlight grew out of Local Service Spotlight. While Dennis and Dylan were building LSS to help local service businesses get found and trusted on Google, they realized the exact same system could give back to the dunk community Dylan came up in. So they did.
How it started
In early 2025, Dennis Yu connected with Dylan Haugen. Dennis brings 30-plus years in digital marketing and over a billion dollars in managed ad spend for brands like Nike and the Golden State Warriors. Dylan was a 17-year-old professional dunker with a real library of content and a podcast, but no structured way for the world to find it.
Dennis helped Dylan take what already existed, his real experiences, and organize it. The Dunk Talk Podcast he was already hosting. The long-form dunk videos he was already filming. Together they structured those signals into entity-level authority, and Google noticed. Dylan earned a verified Google Knowledge Panel at 17, the highest level of trust and recognition you can get on Google, and a rare thing at any age.
From there, Dylan repurposed his long-form dunk videos and podcast episodes onto his personal brand website. That let him make his real connections inside the dunking community public, connecting with dunkers like Jordan Kilganon and Isaiah Rivera and competing at live dunk contests around the country and around the world. The website became the home base that tied it all together, and it looked the part.

Then came Cam
In 2026, Dennis and Dylan met up with Cam Hazzard at a dunk session and invited him to a digital marketing conference the day after. At that conference, Cam spoke about what Dennis and Dylan had built for him in a very short amount of time: his entire personal brand website, with all of his real experiences documented publicly. Cam is a pro dunker with a 50-inch tested vertical who was hand-picked by Shaq for the DunkMan League. His site was generated by an AI agent from interview transcripts during a single lunch break.

That was the moment it clicked. The same process that verified Dylan and showcased Cam could work for any dunker who is willing to document what they do.
Why we are doing this
Dennis, Dylan, and Cam all believe in helping the good guys win. They all love dunking in different ways. Dennis dunks on a trampoline. Dylan and Cam compete on national and international stages. What unites them is the belief that there are a lot of dunkers out there who genuinely love what they do and deserve to be seen for it.
Pushing dunking forward as a sport means each dunker has to present themselves well and document the sport in a way that is public and easily accessible for Google and AI. That is the whole idea behind Dunker Spotlight. Put simply, our goal is to put dunkers in the spotlight.
AI is an amplifier, not a replacement
We use AI agents to do the heavy lifting: inventory your content, structure it, and build your site. But the authority is real because the experiences are real. We do not invent a story for you. We take the dunks you actually landed, the contests you actually competed in, and the work you actually put in, and we make sure the world can find it.
The team behind Dunker Spotlight
Dennis Yu
A digital marketing veteran with 30-plus years of experience and over a billion dollars in managed ad spend for brands like Nike and the Golden State Warriors. A former search engine engineer who now helps people build real authority online. He got into dunking on a trampoline after a health scare and met Dylan through the dunk world.
Dylan Haugen
A professional dunker from Minneapolis with six contest wins, 100M-plus views, and a signing with Shaq’s DunkMan League. Host of the Dunk Talk Podcast and the original proof of concept: he earned a verified Google Knowledge Panel at 17 by documenting his real dunking experiences.
Cam Hazzard
A pro dunker with a 50-inch tested vertical, hand-picked by Shaq for the DunkMan League. His personal brand site was built by an AI agent from interview transcripts in a single lunch break, and he spoke about the results at a marketing conference the next day.
